Last updated: 1 January 2026

Introduction

Xenon Polymers & Chemicals ("Xenon", "we", "us") respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal information we collect through this website, why we collect it, how long we keep it, and the choices available to you.

Information we collect

We only collect information that you voluntarily provide to us through our forms:

  • Enquiry form: full name, company name, email address, contact number, your query, and any datasheet or document you choose to upload.
  • Careers form: full name, email address, contact number, position of interest, your message, and the resume or CV file you upload.
  • Technical information: basic, non-identifying data such as your browser type and pages visited, where analytics is enabled with your consent.

How we use your information

We use your information to respond to your enquiry, recommend suitable materials or grades, share technical documentation, evaluate job applications, maintain records of our communications, and meet applicable legal or regulatory obligations. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for automated decision-making.

Legal basis

We process your information because you have asked us to respond to an enquiry or application, because it is in our legitimate interest to operate and improve our business, or because we are required to do so by law.

Storage and security

Submissions are stored in a secured, access-controlled cloud database, and uploaded files are stored in a private storage bucket that is not publicly accessible. Access is limited to authorised Xenon personnel who need the information to do their work. While no method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, we take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your information.

Retention

Enquiry records are generally retained for up to 24 months from the last communication, and career applications for up to 12 months so that we can consider you for future openings, unless a longer period is required for legal, accounting or contractual reasons. You may ask us to delete your information sooner.

Third parties and processors

We share information only where necessary: with our cloud hosting, database and file-storage providers who process data on our behalf under appropriate confidentiality obligations; with suppliers, compounders or testing agencies where this is required to progress your specific enquiry; and with professional advisers or authorities where required by law.

Cookies

We use essential cookies to make the site work and, with your consent, non-essential cookies for analytics. You can accept or decline non-essential cookies using our cookie banner. Full details are set out in our Cookie Policy at /cookie-policy.

Your rights

Subject to applicable law, you may request access to the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct inaccurate information, request deletion, object to or restrict certain processing, or withdraw consent you have given. We will respond to genuine requests within a reasonable period.

Children

This website is intended for business use and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or legal requirements. The "Last updated" date above indicates when this version took effect.
